Mechanics Graduate
Early life & education
Geofrey has been in education with Shelo since 2013 when he was 12 years old. Since he started at Bududa Primary School, he’s always been a hard working student finishing primary school in 2014 and then moving on to secondary education.
Geofrey lived with 8 siblings and his mother, who is 48 years old. He is the 6th child in the family. Their mud house has 4 rooms and a metal sheet roof, and Geofrey shares a room with his brothers.
The family grows crops like cassava, sweet potatoes, eggplant, beans and bananas as their source of income. They also look after a goat. The family is able to eat three times a day.
Geofrey’s professional education with Path To Prosper
In 2021 Geofrey was one of the first students to enroll in the new Path to Prosper programme. He’s chosen to take a mechanics course at BLC and has a motorbike of his own!
“Thank you so much for your kind support towards Geofrey and our family. He has a better chance and a bright future.”
