Sumaya’s background
Sumaya started her Path to Prosper supported education in early 2025 to study hairdressing
She lives in a single parent household with six siblings. Despite the difficult home living her mother is dedicated to get her children educated and they have all been in school until early secondary.
She lives in the local community of Bududa in a short walk to the BLC school where she will work alongside her classmates and learn skills such as braiding, twists, retouching and cutting.
