As a student with Shelo

Isaac has been in education with Shelo since 2010 when he was 10 years old. Since he started at Care Centre Primary School, he’s been a hard working student. progressing every year to finish primary school in 2017.

He then attended Bududa Comprehensive High School studying subjects such as History, Geography, Mathematics, Agriculture and sciences, his highest grades being in Mathematics, which has ultimately helped shape his chosen subject in professional education at BLC.

Katamwa Isaac is the seventh child in his family. His father is 61 and his mother is 54. All 9 family members live in their mud house with an iron sheet roof. Isaac has no mattress, and shares a bedroom and bedding with his brother

The family members grow crops like bananas, beans and maize as their source of income. They also have an avocado tree in the compound. They can afford to eat meals twice a day.

Isaac’s professional education with Path To Prosper

In 2021 Isaac was one of the first students to enroll in the new Path To Prosper programme. He’s chosen to take a mechanics course at BLC, and although the school is an hour and a half walk, he’s expressed his excitement in taking part of this opportunity.

We receive monthly reports on Issac's well-being and education.

“Thank you so much for supporting Isaac at Bududa vocational Academy.”
